Victoire Berteau extends contract with Cofidis for two more years

Victoire Berteau will continue to race for Cofidis for the next few years. The 23-year-old cyclist, who hopes to retain her French road title this weekend, has signed a new contract extending until the end of 2026.

Berteau is currently in her third season with Cofidis, having made the switch from Doltcini-Van Eyck-Proximus CT during the winter of 2021. Over the past few seasons, she has been making impressive strides. In 2023, she not only clinched the French road title – which was also her first professional victory – but also secured numerous other top finishes.

Her notable results this year include:
– 4th place in the Tour de Normandie
– 5th place in the Ronde van Drenthe
– 8th place in Paris-Roubaix
– 9th place in Le Samyn

Additionally, in May, she placed 2nd in the Grand Prix du Morbihan and 5th in La Classique Morbihan. Her consistent performances have established her as a key rider for Cofidis.
