Valentina Cavallar secures her future with Arkea-B&B Hotels until 2027

Valentina Cavallar has recently inked a new deal with Arkea-B&B Hotels, ensuring her presence on the women’s team until 2027. Under the management of Emmanuel Hubert, Cavallar’s extended commitment is seen by the team as a significant step towards building a stable and competitive sporting endeavour.

Only signed in March this year, Cavallar impressed recently at Itzulia Women where the former rower wore the Queen of the Mountain jersey before just being overtaken for the overall prize by race winner Demi Vollering on the final stage.

In a statement, Cavallar expressed her enthusiasm about the extended partnership and the confidence shown in her by the team’s management. “I am happy to so quickly extend my contract with the Arkea-B&B Hotels Femmes team, over a long period. This allows us to plan together a great sporting project,” she remarked. Cavallar highlighted the team’s blend of ambition and familial spirit as key factors in her decision. “I quickly felt that I belonged to the Arkea-B&B Hotels team, from my first race in my new colours. I am perfectly supported by everyone in the Arkea-B&B Hotels training, riders, staff, before, during, and after the races. This is something very appreciable.”

Emmanuel Hubert, General Manager of Arkea-B&B Hotels, praised Cavallar’s rapid adaptation to the professional ranks and her climbing capabilities, particularly showcased during the Tour of the Basque Country Women where she wore the jersey of the best climber for two days. “Valentina Cavallar very quickly found her feet in the professional women’s cycling peloton, but also within the Arkea-B&B Hotels team,” Hubert said. He underscored the strategic intent behind securing Cavallar’s services for an extended period: “The choice to have Valentina Cavallar sign a long-term contract, until 2027, demonstrates our desire to sustainably register the Arkea team-B&B Hotels in the professional women’s cycling peloton, with the ambition to make it progress season after season, on a sporting level.”
